I am following the Iranian massive rally. As far as Iran’s history is concern, this massive rally is by far the most well attended and dramatic. I am maybe bias in the sense that there is no twitter or internet in the past. Thus, people are very much unaware of the recent events in their respective places. After all, this is a decade where huge information are being shared to a lot of people. How Iranians communicate to stage a massive rally like this.

They are able to come with this kind of gathering, because social media is the instrument. CNN tells us that USA is manning the Iranian Political Drama through twitter and Facebook, since the Iranian Govt. shut down all News Sites. It is cheap, ready to use, and can be delivered anywhere and everywhere. As you can see, these people are tired of old ways. They wanted reforms. They wanted freedom and of course jobs. How can Amadinejad give them jobs if they themselves would go to UAE or other places to look for jobs. In order for them to gain their aspirations, they have to change the system first.

This is the reason why the Iranian mullahs are very much afraid of Twitter and Facebook compared to US incursions or Israeli attacks. Look at the diagram, how these protesters market their protests to other Iranians and to the world. These people became the journalists of our times.

If the Iranian military will annihilate this thousands of live bodies more and more people will storm and rally on the streets. The Clerics must quickly extinguish the fire before these people will attempt to overthrow the Iranian clergy. Thus, it is wise to say the Election results this year are null an void than saying it is absolutely free from anomalies.

Do you think they can accumulate without much support if twitter and other social media tools are non-existent? Perhaps, it will be just another ordinary rally. But what makes this rally as extra-ordinary is that common people can now report directly to the world about what really happen. Iran cannot block or filter news as what they had done before. This is the age of transparency. Big brother knows what you are doing now.

If Iran is successfully opening up towards globalization. Then it is now truly living in its own freedom. Saudi Arabia will brace for itself, because the Persians are leaping forward to a more healthy and vibrant democracy.

Social Media help a lot by calling to attention. What we learn from their own experience is that liars, con men, and bad people are deem to be expose no matter how they hide themselves from the prying eyes of social media saviors. We really learn social media from this scenario.

As you can see, I gamely choose the Yes answer. Then to my surprise, it is just 73% No and 27% Yes. This means that helpful websites and other sites, turn out to be a site of doubt. I am afraid that this is the end of non-communicating websites. People will be happy if you offer helpful topics and more than very very happy if you include forums, comments, and exchanges to support a debate or an argument. It is healthy to have this kind of atmosphere inside a website. You can't just be DOGMATIC ABOUT YOUR OPINION. You are a mere human born to commit mistakes.
I chance to read something on CNN News and here it is…

Would you trust a Web site to help you make decisions?

yes

no

As you can see, I gamely choose the Yes answer. Then to my surprise, it is just 73% No and 27% Yes. This means that helpful websites and other sites, turn out to be a site of doubt. I am afraid that this is the end of non-communicating websites. People will be happy if you offer helpful topics and more than very very happy if you include forums, comments, and exchanges to support a debate or an argument. It is healthy to have this kind of atmosphere inside a website. You can’t just be DOGMATIC ABOUT YOUR OPINION. You are a mere human born to commit mistakes. This statement simply means that we need others to tell anything or something about the topic.

I hope that there is a way for everyone to come up with a solution. Maybe in a few years from now, almost all sites will have their own social media web page. I think this is the direction that most web masters think.At this time, there are lots of free social media marketing sites to choose. And you will really love to join them.

Sites will really be like a community in the near future. Small gadgets such as cellphones can easily access the internet. Hope that people will no longer doubt the power of the messages of social media marketing.

The Iranians revolt against their own, out of touch dear leader is the most popular news story this weekend. The winning candidate for President, Mr. Amadinejad, the great master conductor of Iranian opression is making a mockery of Iran’s democrtic process. What if Amadinejad have his own blog? Will it be like socialmarketingman, who is a staunch supporter of the truth not on lies? The whole testimony of Iranian Hegemony can be found on this link. So back to the question, what if Amadinejad has his own blog? Will it be a good one or a bad one? Will he still write about Israel’s wipe off the map rhetoric or will he write good things about the world? It’s a que sera, sera song. I don’t know much about the man, but he has balls to network on his organization. He knows how to deal with the present crisis and he knows what to say for a sales copy.

One of his staunchest supporters are the Grand Old Muftis from the past eras. Draconian rules like that of the middle ages is their specialty. Once again Amadinejad is like a music conductor in an Orchestra where he played the Rasputin music of all time. It seems the Iranian youths are disenchanted of a greater Iran, no human rights, no freedom, no happiness, no money, no jobs, and just a repeated old symphony of playing dark music.

The marketing ploy that makes a lot of wonders is coming to end. Remember, it is web 2.0 time. If you are bad, then your days are numbered. What is good in social media is that today, communication is not only from top to bottom. It can now be cross from southwest to northeast and so on and so forth. Once you are a bad provider or even hiding skeletons on your closet. Web 2.0 will really tell this to people or to your costumers. You are really not safe if you are a bad seller, producer, politician, guru, and etc.

Amadinejad is now living in his own realm that conforms to his wishes. It is best to be honest. If your election is tainted with scandals then your presidency is a question. If your business is anomalous, then your integrity is in danger. Sound like you are not a genuine man. Moreover, you are not helping the community.

I wanted to say something good on Amadinejad, anyway the good that he does to his country is he was able to teach the Iranians about WEB 2.0 or free personal web marketing. LOL.

The Biggest Mistake in for internet marketer writers is to send a lot of articles on the web and thereby plugging their articles as a form of advertisement on these web sites. It could be, but sites that I don’t need to mention don’t want to be used as a marketing launch pad. Remember, they are their on the internet to give information to readers not the very thing to advertise. I also found out that people write articles or submit articles in a way that they tend to overdo it. They take the wrong posting category when they post to these sites. This led them to experience less traffic and low exposure rate.

You still have to research on what you write or say. It is really too bad that you just blurted any words or topics just to populate your blog site with articles. Just by being patient will meet its own rewards. You know, you have to be honest as to what level of thinking you belong and how to make it more productive on your side. Be sure to conduct good following by writing your own original content.

Best thing to do is to put a balance perspective in your articles. Too much of your own self centeredness will further erode your social equity. You must be give useful, organized, and positive write ups. Reminders, don’t bad mouth your competitors. Just be yourself. Honesty is the best policy. If you wanted to learn social media networking then you have to really practice the GOLDEN RULE. I don’t need to elaborate it.

The bottom line here is to make a credible story, situation, or scenario that you are not there for profit but for further learning just to enhance your social equity. I may say enhance your good morals and right conduct.

Setting up a membership site for your community of online students can be done in several different ways. In fact, you do not even have to have a formal site in order to begin your membership program.

I have been a part of several mentor programs since 2006. For the first year I met with the members once each week through a teleseminar. The moderator would give us the links to all previous calls, but there was not a site where we logged in and registered in order to belong.

In 2008 people began using secret Facebook group as their membership sites. Mentees were able to connect with each other and to post information in the forum that could be accessed by the members whenever they were ready for it. The mentees said that they finally felt like they were part of a group. They began to do joint ventures and other projects together. They became more successful because of the opportunity that had been given them to meet each other.

By the end of 2009 many online mentors will finally have a traditional membership site. A technical person, who sometimes become partners on these ventures, will set up what is needed. They will analyze what the mentor program needs and make it simple for the members to log in and to download audio, video, and other training information.

Consider starting small with a membership program and building up to something larger as the need arises. You will find that this method makes for a stress free situation that can be very lucrative over time. You can also start a fixed term membership site that will grow and create residual income for years to come.

And now I invite you to find out more about setting up your own membership site by visiting http://www.MonthlyIncomeResults.com and get started right away with a program that will earn you both passive and residual income with very little time required of you each month.

Nothing against automatic updates, however, I do think that one needs to create a strategy for any social media.

Yesterday I spent most of the day in wonderment and awe watching as my updates from Twitter feed automatically fed into Twitter! The benefit of course is that you don’t have to sit there all day and type your thoughts into your 140 character limit box. However, doing this would mean that we would all end up as automatons, and nothing would actually come from our thoughts, through our hands tapping the keyboard of life! Nothing against automatic updates, however, I do think that one needs to create a strategy for any social media.

So here are some hints and tips that I suggest you use as your Twitter strategy, to ensure that people meet the real you and not just the salesperson selling a zillion products!

Take time in selecting the name for your twitter account, think about the messages you want to send to your followers. Add a photo of yourself to add credibility, as connecting with the picture of a plant won’t really help, unless in fact you really do look like a plant! Add your location, a website address or connection to your blog and add a little bio, doesn’t need to be much at all. You can also set-up a new background making your twitter page a bit more chic or even upload a new background image. All you have to do is click on the SETTINGS link and you will find all the sections that can be customised to your liking!

Now once you are set-up, do some research on say your favorite hobby, for example, one of mine is Art. This will bring back many institutions that are linked to art, magazines that report on art and other people who have a general passion for art. Once you have done this research start following some of the above and see what they are talking about.

Now that you are a follower of someone, they in turn will start following you too. A word of advice don’t just add any old thing in your 140 char box – twitterers like to see how your posts can add some knowledge or value to them, otherwise they will just stop following you as there will be no value add. For example, when someone you are following poses a question on their twitter, I encourage you to answer the individual, in order for that instant connection to be made and that space in between is filled with a meaningful interaction. So, again start to make those connections and others will start to follow you and also trust the content that you have to offer. One little pointer if you hover at the side of someone’s twitter you will see a little star and below that a little arrow – click on the arrow and you will be able to reply to that person. The reply will be prefixed by an @username. The person will instantly know that you have personally replied.

One of the other tips that will help you when adding website addresses into your 140 char box, if you are pointing people to a news link or some other source of info, is using tools such as bit.ly or TinyURL. These are tools that shorten the URL to make sure you can get it into the required 140 char box. Try http://bit.ly/ and create yourself a username and password, that way you can see some statistics about how many clicks you get on your twitter, which locations people are clicking from i.e. UK, US etc. I use this one and am sure the others are pretty similar.

Building credibility is a BIG DEAL which I mentioned earlier. If you are planning to use twitter or other social media networks for selling your product, make sure that you are probably not selling 100% of your time! This will put people off you, your product and your credibility will of course go rolling down that very long hill. Be subtle, add your thoughts initially about what is happening in your world, tell people that you are working on something and will let them know about it when you are finished. Let them be the first to see it and maybe add their feedback on it. Don’t just send the product out to all who are following you. REMEMBER what I said earlier; create those connections by replying to other posts and you will have made some friends who can help you. Once you have tested your product and got that feedback, start to ease it out to your network – I would say perhaps the split should be 60% informational / human posts (what you are up to etc.) and 40% adding value to others (i.e. selling your product or service). Other twitters may have a different viewpoint on this.

Social media allows you to – LOWER THE COST OF SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING YOUR PRODUCT - and you can do this by pointing your product to your network as low cost advertising which provides you with an instant selling point. REMEMBER all this is just a message and will take you about 5 minutes or less to come up with! NO MORE is there any need to let your money go down the drain for costly advertising!
So to cap this blog off, here is a summary:

Take the plunge into starting a social media account, sign-up whether it is Twitter, Facebook etc.;

1. Create an account, add some personal information, and add a picture so that others can see the real you;

2. Research hobbies or something related to your work and start to follow those people – in Twitter you can just click on the Follow button and you are instantly tracking what that fellow twitterer has to offer;

3. Post meaningful and useful information that will add value or provide good solid knowledge for those that are curious about you;

4. Use the URL shortening tool to scale down those football pitch sized website addresses;

5. Build a following and test a product that you are thinking of launching to market – low cost marketing – in fact there is no cost apart from your time!

6. The split between information and selling should be 60%/40% – this is my humble opinion I am sure others out there will have different ideas. Perhaps, this is far too much selling!

Lastly, enjoy your interactions on social media, you are only building your network and make it fun for yourself and others!

PS see yesterday’s blog as I talk a little more about how I automated Twitter!
